We have chosen the following motto for 2026: „TRIZ ∞: other areas, other methods.“
At this event, we want to offer a platform for TRIZ-related contributions from the industrial and academic sectors, which will also be published (Springer Verlag). Everything in the spectrum from technical to non-technical applications and the combination with other methods is welcome.
Welcome to the 4th TRIZ-Anwendertag (User Day) 2026!
Overview
We have chosen the motto "TRIZ ∞: other areas, other methods" for 2026.
The TRIZ-Anwendertag focuses on new applications, research, and extensions of the TRIZ methodology. It is primarily attended by companies, research institutions, colleges, universities, and TRIZ Level 4 and Level 5 aspirants who are further developing TRIZ or combining it with other methods or in other areas such as quality assurance, business models, sustainability topics, etc. New possibilities for applying TRIZ or combining it with other methods will be presented and discussed in lectures.
The event will be offered in hybrid mode (in-person & online).
Call for Papers
The contributions to the TRIZ-Anwendertag will again be published by Springer-Vieweg Verlag (see TRIZ-Anwendertag 2024 Booklet; Link). To ensure high quality, a call for papers will be issued, and the submitted contributions will be evaluated and approved in a double-blind process.
Further information on the call for papers can be found under the „Sponsors“ section at the bottom of the page.
The participation fee is waived for accepted papers.
Student Award
In 2026, a TRIZ Student Award will be presented again!

Student Award
In 2026, a TRIZ student prize will be awarded again!
With the TRIZ Student Award, the European TRIZ Campus aims to bring young people who are enthusiastic about TRIZ into contact with the most important TRIZ figures at an early stage.
We therefore invite the prize winners personally to the general meeting of the European TRIZ Campus and to the TRIZ Expert Day to talk to them.
As a token of our appreciation, we will treat the winner(s) to two nights‘ accommodation and participation in the Expert Day. At the general meeting, a prize certificate will be awarded and the student will receive a small gift. The student’s work should be made available to conference participants in a poster presentation and/or a presentation. Pin boards will be available for this purpose.
If you know a student who should receive this award, you can register them as their mentor. To do so, please fill out the attached Word template with a short description of the work and add your assessment of the work in the Excel template. Thank you very much!
The deadline for submissions is March 28, 2026. The board of the European TRIZ Campus will decide on the awarding of the prize in the following week. You will receive feedback by April 30, 2026, on who has been nominated as the prize winner.
The exchange with TRIZ experts gathered at the ETC e.V. general meeting and the expert day offers an enriching opportunity to make valuable contacts for your professional future.
Please feel free to forward this email to other interested parties.
We hope for lively participation.
Our prize – the reward
In addition to a certificate and a small gift, the prize consists of an invitation to the general meeting and expert day of the European TRIZ Campus in January 2027. We will cover the accommodation and conference costs.
Our aim is to promote early networking among those interested in TRIZ and give them the opportunity to meet the most important people in this field in a single day.
